Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Content OS ("the Service", "we", "us", "our"), operated by FTZ Studios. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Eligibility & account

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You're responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. One person per account. Notify us immediately at hello@yourcontentos.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

2. The service

Content OS is an AI-assisted content generation tool. You provide debriefs, notes, brand profiles and prompts; the Service generates draft social posts, carousels, quotes, newsletters and similar content for your review and use. The Service is provided on a software-as-a-service basis.

3. Plans, pricing & billing

We offer a free tier with a daily generation limit and paid monthly subscription tiers (Starter, Creator, Studio) with higher limits. Prices are shown on the in-app Plans page in pounds sterling (GBP) and exclude VAT or local taxes where applicable. Paid plans renew automatically each month until you cancel.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you authorise us (via Stripe) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal — access to your paid tier continues until the end of the current billing period and will not renew.

4. Refunds & cooling-off

Because the Service delivers digital content immediately on subscription, you expressly request that performance begin during the UK consumer cooling-off period and acknowledge that this means you lose your right to cancel for a refund once you've started generating content. We do not generally offer refunds for partial billing periods. We will of course honour any non-waivable rights you have under UK consumer law.

5. Generation limits & fair use

Each plan includes a daily limit on AI generations. Every AI action — full batch generations, single-slide regenerations, hook scoring, carousel and quote generation — counts as one generation. Limits reset at 00:00 UTC. We may rate-limit, throttle or suspend accounts that we believe are abusing the Service, attempting to bypass limits, or generating content at a volume that isn't consistent with normal individual use.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• generate illegal content, content that infringes someone's rights, or content that promotes violence, hate, harassment or sexual exploitation;
• impersonate a real person or organisation in a misleading way;
• generate content that you intend to pass off as another person's authentic work without disclosure;
• reverse-engineer, scrape, resell or sub-license the Service;
• attempt to access other users' data, bypass authentication, quotas, rate limits, or security controls;
• use the Service to train competing AI models.

7. AI-generated content

AI output may be inaccurate, biased, or include unintended similarities to existing works. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing and fact-checking any output before you publish, share or otherwise rely on it. As between you and us, you own the content you generate, subject to the terms of any underlying AI model provider. We make no warranty that AI output is original, accurate, fit for any particular purpose, or non-infringing.

8. Your content & licence to us

You retain ownership of the debriefs, brand profiles, prompts and other inputs you submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process and transmit Your Content solely so we can operate, secure and improve the Service for you, and to send Your Content to AI providers (via the Lovable AI Gateway) to produce your requested output. We do not sell Your Content and we do not use it to train AI models.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers including Stripe (payments), Supabase / Lovable Cloud (hosting and database), and Google / OpenAI models via the Lovable AI Gateway (AI generation). Their availability, terms and privacy practices apply alongside ours.

10. Suspension & termination

You can delete your account at any time by emailing hello@yourcontentos.com. We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if your use threatens the security or integrity of the Service, or if continued provision becomes unlawful. On termination your access ends immediately and stored content may be deleted after a reasonable retention period.

11. Service availability & warranties

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that AI output will meet your requirements. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity arising out of or related to the Service. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) £100. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud).

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, AI output you publish, or your breach of these Terms.

14. Changes to the service or terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material we will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that consumers may rely on any mandatory protections of their country of residence.
